Work is underway to try and repair the burst main which has caused severe water outages in the North East.
More than 50 thousand homes and business in Louth and Meath have been affected by the crisis.
Irish Water says the repairs are a very delicate and detailed process but it’s going well so far.
Local TD Fergus O’Dowd hopes it’s successful.
