A local man will see his animation broadcast on the BBC this summer.
John Clerkin, originally from Monaghan, and his wife Ann Harrison, both of Celtic Dragon Studios, successfully pitched their idea through the BBC 2-Minute Masterpiece Animation Scheme and will now produce their short based on 'connection'.

John, freelances in video editing and motion graphics, while Anne lectures in Art and Design, and this is their first production with the broadcaster.
Speaking about the project Anne said that the inspiration for it came from her mother and other family members who were forced to connect with those around them in new ways during lockdown.

The couple, who are behind the web comic, 'Bunsen Bunnies', are due to finish the project in mid-July and it will air later in the summer.
