32 people waiting on trolleys in the Northern Sound region today, according to the latest INMO trolley watch. 22 are in emergency departments, while the remaining 10 are situated in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
There are six patients waiting on trolleys in both Cavan General Hospital and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. 20 people are currently waiting on beds in Sligo University Hospital, the worst affected hospital in this region. There are no patients on trolleys in Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan.
Today’s figures show that there is a total of 384 patients waiting for a bed nationwide. The highest figure across the country today is found in University Hospital Limerick with a total of 64 people waiting on trolleys.
