Over 500 inspectors to be brought in to ensure local businesses follow public health advice

Over 500 inspectors are being brought in to ensure local businesses comply with public health advice as the country moves into the second phase of reopening.
Since May 18th, the Health and Safety Authority has been carrying out inspections under the Return to Work Safely Protocol.
As of this week, more than 1000 inspections had been carried out by the HSA to businesses that opened under Phase One.
Local Minister Heather Humphreys said the additional staff will come from a wide range of sectors.
