67 people have presented as homeless to Monaghan County Council this year

52 adults and 14 children have presented as homeless in Monaghan so far this year.

The figures from the local County Council were released recently, covering January 1st to June 26th.

It comes as funding has been allocated for a Vacant Housing Officer in the county, who will oversee the return to use of empty houses.
