Linwoods is to close its bakery division in Armagh which will result in 70 job losses at the factory.
The company which is located on the Monaghan Road in the town has cited a significant decrease in demand as the reason for the closure.
The business was set up 60 years ago and added a health food branch to the business in 2002 which will not be affected.
It is reported that joint managing director John Woods has said that it is a sad day for the business and that every option was taken to avoid the job losses.
The company will continue to operate its bakery division until mid-October.
