A fundraising campaign has been set up to preserve the independence of a Cavan man who suffers from motor neurone disease.
Andrew Brennan was diagnosed with MND last year at the age of 31 – and he fronted this year’s MND Awareness Campaign, which raised €150,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Since the campaign in June, Andrew says his condition has deteriorated, and now needs a specially adapted car to allow him to keep his independence.
Andrew says he wants to do the school run for as long as his MND allows him.
