Almost €500,000 in funding for local community groups

Half a million in funding has been announced for nine community and voluntary groups in Cavan and Monaghan. The funding is going to organisations who are working with the vulnerable and at need during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Five groups in Monaghan are receiving almost €395,000, with €154,000 of that going to the Knockatallon Development Company.

€103,000 has been allocated to groups in Cavan. Little Rays Services for Older Persons is receiving the most in Cavan at €61,000.
