Anonymous donor offers $60,000 to help find the remaining ‘Disappeared’

An anonymous donor has offered a reward of $60,000 for information on the location of the bodies of the last three ‘Disappeared’.

The Independent Commission for the Location of Victims’ Remains says the donor came forward wanting to ‘…close a chapter of a terrible story in the lives of families who have suffered decades of torment not knowing where their loved ones were buried’.

The remains of Joe Lynskey, Columba McVeigh and Robert Nairac still haven’t been located. Searches were carried out in the Bragan area of north Monaghan last year in a bid to locate the body of Columba McVeigh, which is believed to be buried in the area.
