Around 8 percent of Irish homeowners would take on a burglar in their home

Around 8 percent of Irish homeowners would be willing to take on a burglar in their home.

That’s according to a new study by AA Ireland which shows that in the event of a burglary almost 8 percent (7.83 percent) of Irish homeowners would attempt to subdue the intruder until Gardai arrived at the property.

Almost four in seven homeowners on the other hand would hide and make contact with gardai.
