Beech Hill have been successful in remaining a ‘Creative School’ for a second year.

The Secondary School in Monaghan received funding as part of the Creative Schools Initiative in 2018 and used that to lay the ground work for their students to learn and engage creatively.

They have now secured funding for a second year, and local sculptor Joanne Behan from Clones has been assigned to the school as their Creative Associate.

The co-ordinator of the programme Joanne Brennan is hopeful that this year the team will develop the school’s creative hub further, as well as build upon the workshops that the students devised last year.
