There was a big increase in the number of public order offences in Cavan and Monaghan in the first six months of this year when compared with the same period in 2015.
The figures from the Central Statistics Office show 451 public order incidents were recorded up to June, up from 379 in the first half of 2015.
The number of sexual assaults fell slightly in the first six months.
34 were recorded on the Garda Pulse system up to June, compared with 43 in the first six months of 2015.
498 theft or related offences were also recorded in Cavan and Monaghan in the first half of the year.
