Brian McCaughey,                                                                                                        Knockroe House, Clones Road, Monaghan, Co. Monaghan, August 7th 2020, peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff at Cavan General Hospital. Sadly missed by his wife Theresa, sons Gerard and Gary, daughter Anne, daughters in law Sophie and Terry, son in law Dominick, brother Brendan, sister in law Sheila, grandchildren Lara, Bella, Max, Zach and Shane, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Removal on Monday at 10.15 a.m., arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery, Latlurcan. House and funeral strictly private to family only due to Covid-19 restrictions. Funeral Mass available via live webcam at:

  1. Sorry for loss Gerry and Gary it was an honour to work and under your Father and yourselves in century homes. I remember been a couple minutes late a few morning in a row when McCaughey came over better late than never but be on time the next morning I was always on time after that. He was a great man to work for.

  8. Deepest sympathy to Gerry, Gary, Brendan and the Mc Caughey family. I worked for many years in Century Home’s Brian was a man who led by example and was never afraid to get his hands or his suit dirty to get the job done. May he rest in peace.
