People in Monaghan have hit out at Bus Éireann services to the county.
It’s after numerous passengers were left waiting for hours at Dublin Airport on Monday evening.
It’s claimed the driver of the 7.05pm service told waiting passengers his bus was bypassing Monaghan and heading straight to Donegal as it was full.
However, no alternative bus was allocated to the route, with passengers left waiting for the next service after 9pm.
Bus Éireann is yet to reply to a request for comment from Northern Sound News.
It follows another situation where an 84 year old woman was denied boarding in Emyvale and told to wait for the next bus two hours later.
In that case an extra bus was organised to take waiting passengers from Monaghan.
