Workshops for businesses on the new Border Fund are taking place in the region today.
It follows the announcement of a special €28 million economic stimulus package for the Border region which applies to counties Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim and Louth.
The fund is designed to drive economic activity in the region and ensure that businesses have additional support in mitigating against the impact of Brexit.
The first of these workshops gets underway at 10am this morning in the Hotel Kilmore, with the second taking place in The Four Seasons Hotel in Monaghan at 2pm.
