There are calls for more discussion around what a possible united Ireland would look like.

The possibility of a border poll has increased since the Brexit result, with speculation one could be held if there’s a crash out Brexit.

It’s looking increasingly likely the UK will leave the EU without a deal on
October 31st with warnings of the impact that would have on Ireland, both north and south.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar this week said a border poll would be divisive.

Senator Mark Daly was among those to work on a report looking at the measures needed ahead of a unity referendum.
