Castleblayney Hurling club living the dream

While much of the focus is on the Allianz National football league, the small matter of an All-Ireland club final is also to be decided this weekend with Castleblayney hurling club facing Dumnamaggin of Killkenny in the Juinor decider on Sunday in Croke Park at 1:30pm

The Monaghan representatives will be the first ever club from the county to contest a hurling final at headquarters.

One of the founding members of the club is Noel Mc Guigan and he remarked how the current team had shown potential from their underage outings

For captain Peter Treanor it is dream come through for all involved to be getting the chance to play at Croke Park

Throw in for that one as mentioned is 1:30 and we will have live commentary here on Northern Sound
