A Cavan cheese producer is recalling two products over TB fears. The Food Safety Authority of Ireland issued the warning on batches of the Cavanbert and Drumlin cheeses by Corleggy Cheese, which were made with milk from a herd that tested positive for TB.
It said consumption of contaminated dairy products can cause human TB. Cavanbert Cheese with a best before date after February 14th and Drumlin Cheese with a best before date after March 13th are unaffected.
No other products in the company’s range are affected.
