Cavan Club championship to throw in this weekend

On the fixtures front here in the Northern Sound region the club championships continue this coming weekend with Cavan playing host to their opening rounds .

On Saturday evening in Kingspan Breffni, Cavan Gaels get their campaign underway against Killygarry at 7:30pm, at the same time in Edwin Carolan Community park Castlerahan get their defence of the title up and going against Shercock.

Kingscourt and Lacken get their senior competition underway on Saturday at 5pm when they throw in at the Lavey GAA grounds.

On Sunday Gowna go up against Ramor United in Kingspan Breffni at 2pm with Mullahoran and Laragh meeting at 5pm in St Matthews Park.

Crosserlough and Lavey complete the weekend of senior championship action when they meet in Kingspan Breffni at 7:30 on Sunday evening.

In the intermediate championship, Drumgoon and Killinkere throw in tomorrow evening in O’Raghallaigh Park at 8:15pm.

On Saturday, it is Drumlane against Butlersbridge at 5pm in Rory O’Moore park with Ballymachugh taking on Cornafean at 7:30 in Mullahoran

Sunday sees plenty of action as Arva take on Ballinagh at 2pm in Lacken, at the same time in Hugh O’Reilly Park Cuchalainn face Ballhaise.

At 5pm , Killashandra face Baileborough in the Athletic grounds with Belturbet and Ramor United at the same time in Emmet Park.
