A Cavan dairy farmer has won an award for his grassland management.
Stradone's David Brady earned a merit award for "Most Improved Grassland" at the Teagasc Grassland Farmer of the Year event.
He was commended for turning the wettest paddocks on his farm to some of his driest by using a gravel-mole plough technique.

Caroline Walsh in Ballinascarthy in County Cork was the overall winner at the online ceremony.
