12 Cavan players have been named on the Irish News Ulster All star team.
Announced via Social media last night, their success with claiming a first Ulster senior title since 1997 seen the Breffni county dominate the team with Monaghan and Donegal the only other recipients.
Raymond Galligan who is strongly tipped to pick up a national all star claimed the Number 1 spot with Luke Fortune, Padraig Faulkner and Jason Mc Loughlin dominating the full back line.
It was similar in the half back line with Killian Clarke, Ciaran Brady and Gerard Smith all been named.
Thomas Galligan who was also named as the Ulster player of the year, was named alongside Donegal's Hugh Mc Fadden at midfield.
Oisin Kiernan, Gearoid McKiernan and Martin Reilly made it a Cavan lockout in the half foward line with Conor Madden , Donegal's Jamie Brennan and Conor Mc Manus of Monaghan completing the 15.
Ellen Mc Carron and Aoife Mc Anespie featured on the Ladies All Star team with Armagh's Aimee Mackin named as the Ulster ladies player of the year.
