A Cavan suckler farmer says he has the right team behind him to get the top IFA job.

Rural Development Chairman Joe Brady threw his hat into the ring for IFA President, looking to succeed Joe Healy.

The Laragh native has also acted as Cavan Chairman and Vice President of the Ulster North-Leinster region.

Thomas Cooney was to run for Deputy President but is now rowing behind Brady for the elections.

Speaking to Northern Sound News, Joe Brady said he has the right people behind him.
