Martin Donohoe, of Nyah Comhaltas, says next year’s Ulster Fleadh will be an event to be celebrated.
He also said it will involve a lot of eating, drinking, singing and dancing.
The event is due to take place on the 22nd to the 26th of July and Donohoe is confident the Fleadh will ignite the passion of locals.
This year’s Ulster Fleadh was held in Castlewellan and gave the town a €3 million boost.
Donohoe believes that Cavan is well-suited for the event and will host a public meeting in mid-September to get the views of the public.
