Cavan General sees increase in numbers waiting on trolleys

There’s been an increase in the number of people on trolleys in Cavan General Hospital.

14 people are waiting for admission at the facility today, up from nine on Friday. The INMO figures show 39 people on trolleys across the four hospitals in this region.

Sligo University has the highest at 18, followed by Cavan, with seven in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. Our Lady’s in Navan has no-one waiting on a trolley. That’s up from the 23 people reported to have been on trolleys across the region on Friday.
