Speaking this week Cavan boss Mattie McGleenan has also revealed they are likely to be without full-back Padraig Faulkner for the remainder of the league campaign. After he picked up an injury against Donegal.
They lost to Tyrone last weekend having failed to build on a great first half where they were leading by four points as Tyrone scored ten unanswered points in the last 20 minutes to run out 7 points winners in Healy Park Omagh in their rescheduled match it finished Tyrone 0-19 Cavan 1-09. There was great news for Cavan during the week as the Under 21 side made into the provincial semi final after a 21 point win over Fermanagh.
