The manager of the Cavan/Monaghan Drug and Alcohol service is confident they can continue providing care despite previous fears of closure.
In 2019 Tim Murphy who manages the service said the lack of additional funding meant they would have to wind down by this year as it was unviable.
However, he confirmed this week that they were in negotiations with funders, and it looks like the service will be maintained in some form.
