Cavan and Monaghan will be reunited in a five seater constituency.

The Constituency Commission announced the news that they will bring the Cavan-Monaghan constituency back together with the addition of a portion of neighbouring Meath-East.

A number of TD’s have been venting their anger at the latest constituency changes as the review says Laois and Offaly should be merged – meaning the combined counties will lose a TD.

Dublin Central, Kildare South, and Cavan-Monaghan will all gain an extra deputy.
