in the Lory Meagher Cup Cavan are still awaiting their first win after a 1-20 to 0-09 defeat to Sligo in Kingspan Breffini Park. There are two rounds of games left in the competition. Sligo were two points ahead after 14 minutes but led by 1-10 to 0-07 at half time. Cavan had a goal disallowed in the first half also. Sligo had the control of the second half and Cavan had two players sent off and Sligo had one player given his marching orders.

Warwickshire continue to lead the way in the Lory Meagher Cup after they claimed a third win from three games against Fermanagh in Enniskillen. Sligo and Leitrim share second place after defeating Cavan and Lancashire respectively.
Leitrim edged out Lancashire in Carrick-on-Shannon. The sides were level at 0-7 apiece at half-time, but Leitrim finished on the right side of a 1-12 to 0-14 result to sit in a share of second place with two rounds of group games to go. A Zack Moradi goal and a late Clement Cunniffe free proving the difference.
