A Cavan resident has warned that "it's only a matter of time until something bad happens" on the Kingscourt to Bailieborough road.
Dom Juric moved to Kingscourt last year and is greatly concerned about what he says is the "poor condition and poor safety" of the R165 road.
He says he travels to and from Bailieborough several times a day and has driven on it "under ever weather condition imaginable".

Dom warns that the road is full of potholes and has some severe bends and says it wouldn't take much money to improve safety on it:
