A Cavan restaurant and guesthouse has been listed as one of the top ten small hotels in Ireland.
The list was compiled by contributors to the travel website TripAdvisor and MacNean House & Restaurant in Blacklion, Cavan was named the fifth-best rated small hotel in the country.
Neven Maguire and his wife Amelda took over the family business in 2001, with MacNean House & Restaurant winning many awards over the years since.

The Travellers' Choice Awards are based on "the quality and quantity of the millions of reviews, opinions and ratings collected on Tripadvisor in 2019.
A Tripadvisor spokesperson said now is the right time to celebrate businesses that have delivered consistently outstanding service and quality over the last year.
