A Cavan woman has become the oldest person in Ireland to receive the Covid-19 vaccine.
103-year-old Maggie Timmins received the jab at Oakview Nursing Home in Belturbet yesterday.
Maggie is hopeful that the vaccine will soon put the pandemic behind us, and says she was delighted to receive it.

Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound, Maggie said residents are tired of the lockdown and are looking forward to the day when they can welcome visitors again:
