Clontibret set to benefit from new public lighting to make area safer for pedestrians

Clontibret is set to benefit from three public lights to make the road around the local football club safer.

The Monaghan MD unanimously agreed an appeal on behalf of Clontibret for a community involvement scheme regarding these road works near the Clontibret O’Neill’s GAA club.

The scheme requires the local community to fund around 15% of the funding and Monaghan MD Chairperson Sean Conlon said that councillors were delighted to work in partnership with the community.
