Community left appalled by weekend dumping in Rossmore Park

People in Monaghan have been left appalled by the most recent incident of dumping in Rossmore Park over the weekend.

Beer cans, broken bottles and other bags of rubbish were dumped near the site of the now demolished castle.

Concerns have been raised that the broken bottles and other litter causes a danger to pets, wildlife and children.

The litter warden in Monaghan County Council has been notified.

Sinead O’Reilly who runs a Facebook page on the history of Rossmore Park called ‘Old Memories of Rossmore Park’, says she’s absolutely devastated about the dumping.
