Community projects in the region set to benefit from Community Integration fund

Six community projects in Cavan and Monaghan are set to benefit from a €526,000 Community Integration Fund.

The fund which was first established in 2017 aims to aid the integration and social inclusion of migrants in communities across the state.

Kilnaleck and District Community Co-op Society, The Cavan Centre and Sporting Ballyjamesduff will receive grants from the fund in Cavan, while in Monaghan, Scotshouse Youth Services, Youthers Zone in Carrickmacross and Border Bounce gymnastics club will also benefit.

The community projects will receive grants ranging from €1,000 to €5,000
