A contract to develop a new walking trail in Laragh Co.Cavan has been signed.
This comes as part of a larger project by the Laragh Sports Partnership which includes work to the football pitch, a playground and outdoor classroom.
This trail will surround the pitch in Laragh, is open to all and should be completed within the next 12 months.

There will also be upwards of 20 zones along the trail which the committee hope to seek further funding to develop in the coming years.
Speaking to Northern Sound Local Fine Gael councillor TP O'Reilly was at yesterday's signing and commended the group, stating that this would be a great amenity for all those in the locality:
