Covid-19 testing in Cavan to move from Ballyhaise to Kingspan Breffni tomorrow

Coronavirus testing in Ballyhaise will end tomorrow.

This is due to the opening of a new drive-through centre at Kingspan Breffni.

The HSE confirmed to Northern Sound News that the service in Ballyhaise Health Centre will transition to Cavan town by Friday, when the drive-through facility is expected to open at Kingspan Breffni.

Cavan GAA said yesterday that works have commenced to allow for testing at the county grounds.

This means the number of Covid-19 testing facilities in the region remains at two, with the Entekra Centre of Excellence in Cloghan acting as the drive through service for County Monaghan.

The HSE is reminding people that testing is by appointment only, which is through GP referral.
