All eyes will be on St Tiernachs park Clones tomorrow (Saturday) for a double header of action involving both Cavan and Tyrone.
The U20’s of both counties will get the action underway at 2:45 when they meet in the Ulster semi final.
Tyrone have reached this stage of the competition after their victory over Down while Cavan accounted for Monaghan.
Covering that game for us was Damien Donohoe and during the course of it he remarked the speed of Cavan’s counter attack was a major contributor to their victory
Throw in at 2:45
Following that game, the seniors of both counties will meet in round 4 of the qualifiers with the winner set to enter the super 8’s.
Tyrone have 2 qualifying games under their belt having accounted for Longford and Kildare following their Ulster semi final loss to Donegal.
For Cavan their championship journey seen them reach an Ulster final for the first time in 18 years where they suffered a defeat also at the hands of Donegal.
They did however overcome Monaghan and Armagh on the way to the decider and will now face further provincial opposition
While disappointed to have lost the final, manager Michael Graham noted that the panel had quickly moved on from that game and in the right frame of mind
We will have full live commentary of both those games here on Northern Sound with thanks to Erne Motor works Dublin Road Cavan.
