hugh James (Sonny) McGurren passed away on Sunday, 8th September 2024. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Oak View Nursing Home, Belturbet.

Hugh is predeceased by his son Martin, his parents; Hugh and Catherine, brothers; Tommy, Eddie and Joe, sisters; Eileen McGurren, Mary Elizabeth McGahern and Annie Maguire.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen (nee Gunne), his grandchildren; Darren, Sarah and Daniel, his daughter in law Mary and his nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Removal from Lawlor's  Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet (H14 R583) ​​​​​​​on Wednesday evening at 6.30pm to arrive at St. Mary’s Church Staghall, Belturbet (H14 E045) for 7pm.

Funeral Mass at 11.30am on Thursday. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
