Sam Boyd,

Hillcrest, Cloughnart, Monaghan, Co. Monaghan.

Friday, 17th March 2023, unexpectedly at the Lisdarn Unit, Cavan Hospital.

Pre-deceased by his brother Tacey and sister Jean.

Sam will be dearly missed by his loving family, his beloved wife Isobel, daughters Sylvia ( Alex) and Marcia ( Maurice McMeel), son Noel (Trudy), his treasured grandchildren Vanessa ( Daniel) and Samuel, also his sisters Amy and Etta, nephews Samuel and Meredith and the entire family circle.

Resting at his home. Funeral service on Monday, 20th March, in Ballyalbany Presbyterian Church, Monaghan, eircode H18HH95, at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Callers welcome to the family home from 3pm until 9pm on Saturday and Sunday. House private on Monday morning please. Parking at Corracrin Chapel, eircode H18 TY04. A shuttle bus will operate from there to the house.

Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Sam, if so desired to The Irish Heart Foundation, C/o Conly Funeral Directors, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan or any family member.
