The death has occurred of Sr. Stephanie Brophy, Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary, Cavan and formerly Athy, Co. Kildare. On mission in South Africa, Bridgewater, and Ireland.
Saturday, November 26th 2022
Peacefully in the loving care of the staff in College View Nursing Home, Cavan.
Predeceased by her parents, Martin and Bridget (Bridie) Brophy and her siblings, Lottie, Kitty, Josie, Betty and Martin.
Sr. Stephanie will be very sadly missed by her sister Colette, Athy, Co. Kildare, her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, great grandnieces and nephews and her extended family, the Missionary sisters of the Holy Rosary and all her relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Sr. Stephanie’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning, 28th November, at 11am in the Cathedral of SS Patrick & Felim, Cavan, followed by burial in the Convent plot in Cullies cemetery.
