There continues to be disruption to phone lines in Cootehill, almost a week after they were cut during a burglary.
During a burglary at a filling station on the Cavan road last Wednesday, thieves cut the phone lines to disable the alarm.
Some areas of the town had their connection restored last week but some customers, particularly on the Cavan road, are yet to have their connection restored by Eir.
It’s understood Eir has been carrying out work in the area since last Wednesday but the company is yet to respond to a request for comment from Northern Sound News.
