Donald Trump is to visit Ireland in June, according to a number of senior sources.

The US President will spend a number days in Co Clare after his state trip to the UK.

The reports have met with oppostition from a Sinn Fein MEP, with Lynn Boylan stating that the red carpet should not be rolled out for the US President on his visit. She went on to say that opposition to what Donald Trump stands for and controversial remarks, must be highlighted:
