Dreams coming true for Magheracloone as they head to Croke Park.

16 months on from loosing their club house and grounds to a mine collapse, Magheracloone are preparing for a trip to Croke park for the All Ireland Intermediate club final on January 5th.

The Mitchells proved to strong for Mattock Rangers of Louth in their semi final meeting on Saturday afternoon in Crossmaglen.

The sides went in level at the break 7 points a piece with the Leinster champions getting a goal early in the 2nd half but that was as good as it got for them as the Monaghan representatives reeled off 17 points to win by 24 points to 1-08.

Former county player and Magheracloone forward, Tommy Freeman spoke to Alan Gunn after the final whistle and  struggled to put into words his feelings.
