€2 million in funding for Lough Egish company

A Lough Egish company is to receive €2 million in funding to create new innovative products.

For three years, Bio-Marine Ingredients Ireland has been providing international markets with fish based proteins and oils. The start-up says supports from the local authority and government have helped its growth.

Today, it announced that it’s to receive €2 million as part of the Disruptive Technologies fund to create the development of innovative products not seen elsewhere in Europe.
