Over €214,000 has been announced for outdoor projects in Cavan and Monaghan.
The funding is going towards improving local greenways, walking trails, parks and other attractions.
€137,000 is going towards eight projects in Monaghan, while almost €77,000 granted for four Cavan projects.

Announcing the funding, Rural and Community Development Minister and local TD Heather Humphreys said she was delighted to allocate the money.
She said the Covid-19 pandemic "has demonstrated more than ever the importance of amenities for our physical and mental wellbeing".
The investment is part of a package of almost €3.2 million that will fund 173 projects nationwide.
