Economic benefits expected from new Cavan buses

Local Link bus services in Cavan town will benefit local services and the economy of the town.

That’s according to the head of the company that runs the service, Padraic Smyth.

Two new routes in Cavan town were launched recently and will connect Ballyhaise and Ballinagh to the centre of the town.

Buses are running seven days a week, with extra services on Friday and Saturday.

The manager of the Cavan/Monaghan Transport Co-ordination Unit, Padraic Smyth, says the routes will benefit the whole town area.
