Emergency services treat Roslea farmer who was overcome by fumes while mixing slurry

Emergency services responded to a farm outside Roslea yesterday afternoon after a farmer was overcome by fumes while mixing slurry.

The incident happened at around noon yesterday at the property on the Killylacky Road. The man in his 70s collapsed and was taken from the shed by another man.

The Ambulance Service and Fire Service responded and both men were treated by paramedics. Two cows who were in the shed at the time died after being overcome by the fumes.
