Monaghan-based home manufacturing company Entekra, has been named Manufacturer of the Year by the Building Systems Councils
The company also receives two Awards for Excellence in home design constructed using panelised off-site technologies
The criteria for the selection included the company’s contributions to the systems-built housing industry, as well as its innovative practices.
Entekra’s Senior Vice President of Technical Alan Fannin, accepted the awards at a ceremony held this week in Pittsburgh and said that since manufacturing and assembling their first factory-built home in August 2017, they have been working to help the U.S. transition to off-site construction
The technical team continues to operate out of Entekra’s Headquarters in Monaghan, where many of the industry-standard technologies have been developed.
