Fermanagh Author will be remembered today in a ceremony at Crom Estate

A Fermanagh Author will be remembered today in a ceremony at Crom Estate in Newtownbutler.

A stone bust of Shan Bullock will be unveiled in Crom, the area where he was born in 1865.

During his lifetime he wrote 21 novels which were mostly based along the shores of Lough Erne, with reference to places such as Belturbet and Ballyconnell.

The bust will be unveiled at 11am and will be followed by a walk of the estate pointing out the many places that appear in Sean’s books.
