The first Covid-19 vaccinations have been given in a Monaghan nursing home today.
81 year old Rosemary Lee from Carrickmacross received the vaccine in St Mary's Hospital, Castleblayney this morning.
Rosemary received the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine and described it as a "privilege" to have been given it.

She's the first person in a residential facility for older people in Monaghan to receive the vaccine.
Medical Officer at St Mary's and local GP Dr Michael Clarke was the first staff member to receive the vaccine today.
